Circumstance: Caleigh was with her mother and sister, 4, and the family dog. While at the end of the beach, at the creek between Long Beach and Cape Hedge, Caleigh’s mother stepped over a small wall to retrieve a ball the children were playing with. When she returned moments later Caleigh was gone.
Update: 11/12/2012: Similar pants washed ashore on Gloucester beach approx 1 mile south of where Caleigh went missing. LINK
