PROM: Don’t Become a Missing Loved One

PROM: Don’t Become a Missing Loved One

This year at Prom, remember…
Friends Don't Leave Friends Alone.
We know underage drinking may transpire. We hope not, but…we know it does.,
We also know that alcohol consumption can result in accidents, death and
can even cause a loved one to go missing. Don't let
this be you. Perhaps those underage inclined to drink may think again once they learn
that DUI's are not the only dangers out there but that far too many of our young brilliant minds
have gone missing after a night of partying. More often than not they are
located after many weeks, and sometimes months, deceased in lakes, rivers,
streams and the ocean. Some are never found. Click to learn more.

Missing:  Evelyn Gunter

Case:  Missing under suspicious circumstances

Missing From:  Detroit, MI

Missing Date:  March 10, 2013

Race: African American        Sex: F

Age at Time Missing:  47 years old

Height:  5’7

Weight: 170 lbs

Hair Color:  Brown/ short

Eye Color: Brown

Scars/Piercings/Unique Marks:  Scar by right eye; c-section scar

Police Agency: Detroit Police Department, 2nd Precinct, Det. Schultz at (313) 596-1181, or your local police.

Case Number: 1303220150

Circumstance:    Evelyn Gunter was last seen around 6pm by her grandson as she just returned home from running a few errands and was dressed to go out. She did not state where she was going, however, she never returned home. Her adult children immediately knew something was not right as she would never pick up and leave to go anywhere for any length of time without discussing with family and she just had a newborn grand-baby that was only four days old. What is known is she had a good amount of cash in her bank account from her recent 401K deposit and her paycheck as an employee at General Motors. A text was sent to her daughter, on her mother’s phone, that merely said “I am going to visit a friend out of town.” That alone was concerning as she and her mom talked and laugh all of the time and she would have phoned a message like that and not just texted it.  Moreover, she also would have shared her intentions to go somewhere prior to going, especially for any length of time.  Ms. Gunter is very responsible and very close with her children and was especially thrilled to be a Grandmother again. She purchased many new thing for the newborn baby and never would have just disappeared and not made contact. In her 15 years of working at GM she would only miss work if ill and was a dependable employee. Shortly after her disappearance, her 2012 Chevy Impala was found in a parking lot and one of her credit cards was located near the vehicle. It was learned that a man, known to the Gunter family, and a recent convicted felon who served years for rape and attempted murder and was recently released from prison, was the person who parked her car in the parking lot.  He told authorities that Ms.Gunter loaned him the car so he could “care for it” while she was visiting with a friend in Chicago.  It was also found that her text message was made in the same general area and was not made from out of state. Her bank account now holds a negative balance and purchases at a liquor store and a number of other places was made with the card and police stated that those vendors do not keep  their surveillance tapes to see who made the transactions as they re-record over them each day, or week. (which is customary)  Ms. Gunter’s family is extremely distraught and ask if anyone has any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem…to please contact authorities. They are of the firm belief that someone knows something as to the whereabouts of Evelyn Gunter.

Nickname:

Missing From:  San Francisco, CA

Missing Date:  February 06, 2013

Race:    W    Sex: M

Age at Time Missing:  20 years old

Height:  5’8

Weight:  Approx 150 lbs

Hair Color/Length:  Short Dark Brown

Eye Color: Hazel

Tattoos: WEST COAST ON RIGHT ARM; LOYALTY ON LEFT

Other:

Police Agency: San Francisco Police Dept at 415-734-3268, Detective Anne Mackenzie, or phone your local police if seen or info to provide.

Case Number: 130112341

Facebook: “Help Find Crishtian Hughes”

Circumstance: Crishtian was last seen by friends that he was visiting at approx 2am on February 06, 2013. According to police reports, when the friends woke the next morning, they stated Crishtian was gone and that he had packed all his belongings and left. He has not been seen since.

From Crishtian’s mother:  On February 4th, 2013 I dropped my son off at the international airport of San Diego Ca. He was on his way to visit a Friend who resides In San Francisco Ca. After he arrived, I spoke to him briefly and he assured me he had arrived safe, and would be returning home Thursday February 7th around 2:30 pm. we said we loved each other and said our goodbyes and hung up. I haven’t talked or seen him since. When Thursday arrived I had noticed that he hadn’t called, so I called him. It went straight to his voice-mail. I didn’t think much of it, at that point, Then On Friday The 8th, I woke up and tried calling him again. still, straight to voice mail. I then called My sister Chelsea Denton, because she also resides In the San Francisco area. She said she hadn’t seen him since Tuesday when she had given him $70. I spent most of the day trying to get phone numbers to locate my sons friends he had been with. It was a failure. Later on that afternoon I had a knock at my door. It was the San Diego Police Department asking If my son Christian was home. I said no, and right then, I knew something was wrong. One of the Boys who my son had been Visiting had called the SF police department because he was concerned whether or not my son had made it home safely. It turns out that sometime between the hours Of 1am and 10 am, My son had packed all his things and left. But the part that I am trying to figure out is why. Why would he get up in the middle of the night in a city with no car when his friends were at home and was his ride to the airport. Now The part that Is even more confusing. I automatically called The Virgin America Airline to see if he had even made it on the flight. Their response? I’m sorry ma’am. we cannot give you that information. The police are not getting a search warrant to see if he boarded the plane as he is 20 years old. Now I’m terrified. I went to get his phone records to see if maybe there was a number I could use to find him. Nothing. The last text message he sent was at 1:18 am on Wednesday night, and then no activity whatsoever. its like he has just disappeared into thin air. Both San Francisco and San Diego police only have detectives for missing on Mon-Fri 8-5, so more delays. Once talking with them, the question I kept getting was Does your son have mental problems? UM NO. If I said yes would he be a priority? And also, because there is no foul play AND he is 20 years old, they basically wont look for him. How do they not know foul play didn’t happen unless they are looking for him? The time line and the story these kids are telling the authorities just don’t add up to my sons phone records.. They wont get a warrant to make the Airline tell us if he was on the plane, because he is 20 and mentally stable. Can you please help me find my son. He is my absolute everything in life and I know my son. He wouldn’t take off or run away like these people are assuming. He never goes one day without calling his mom. PLEASE HELP ME. I’M BEGGING YOU.

Why we do not report “Date of Birth”

Why we do not report “Date of Birth”

LostNMissing (LNM) has successfully located many missing loved ones to bring them home to their families. We do not divulge date of birth as we strongly believe those located should never have to worry about potential identity theft. Nor do we want valuable police and investigative time to be wasted chasing down a false lead because an identity theft occurred. Date of Birth is mandatory with registering, however, it is not necessary information for the public to have in order to help find a missing loved one. Sometimes we will name the "year of birth." But the month and day is not necessary. Also you may find that we will add "Date at time missing", simple math calculations can figure out the missing person's age today.
