Circumstance: On March 11, 2011, authorities filed new charges against John Skelton, the man who police say kidnapped Tanner, Andrew and Alexander Skelton. Prosecutors added three counts of unlawful imprisonment and kidnapping on top of the three counts of kidnapping custodial interference Skelton was already facing. He faces life in prison if convicted.
