Circumstance:  Johnny Crosby, 67, of 31 CR 87, Tishomingo, has not been seen since about 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 18, 2009. His daughter said she had been staying with her father because he had been sick and depressed and she was worried about him.  She left the house to run some errands, and when she returned, Crosby was not at home. She reported the disappearance later that afternoon. Officials began an extensive search that included dogs and rescue squad members. The search continued through Monday with no results. The Tishomingo County Search and Rescue Dive Team also searched a nearby pond. So far the only lead has been a report of a sighting in Alabama.
At this time, it is not known if he wandered off, left with someone, or left under bad circumstances. Additional searches have been conducted in the area, but all have turned up no new information.
